Brady Tylka Ceramics
Spring 2019
Artist Statement -
My names is Brady Tylka, I am currently a sophomore at Trinity Episcopal School. This is my second art show in my high school career, I am now in Studio Workshop which means it is my second year taking a ceramics class. I used the same glaze that I used last year because of how much I loved it. I decided to use bowls with a gradual curve and an exaggerated foot and put emphasis on the foot. I kept the texture smooth by using a dipping glaze to keep the consistency the same. I am thankful for the past 2 years in allowing me to enjoy art for the first time because previously I had never enjoyed art as much as I do now.
